Campaign Story
The Gaza Strip has been under siege for years, with limited access to food, water, electricity, and other basic necessities of life. The poverty rate in Gaza is at 69%, and the unemployment rate is 46.9%.
This means that a significant portion of the population is unable to provide for their basic needs, including food, clothing, and shelter.
In addition to poverty and unemployment, the situation in Gaza is worsened by the ongoing conflict in the region. The constant violence and destruction have left many families displaced, without homes or any means to support themselves.
The conflict has also led to significant damage to infrastructure, including roads, buildings, and water treatment plants. As a result, water pollution in the area is at an alarming 97%.
The holy month of Ramadan is a time of giving and charity, and it is a time when Muslims are encouraged to give to those who are in need. Given the dire situation in the Gaza Strip, it is essential to provide support and aid to the vulnerable during this holy month.
The projects outlined in this campaign are designed to provide necessary assistance to the vulnerable people in the Gaza Strip during Ramadan. These projects will help ensure that the people of Gaza have access to food, water, and other basic necessities, and can celebrate the holy month with dignity and joy.
